Love Me Better helps people communicate their needs, ask for support, and stay connected with their communities.
Your app information is stored locally on your phone. We do not collect it or have access to it.
Information stays on your phone. Information you enter into Love Me Better—including names, contact details, preferences, support needs, relationship information, and saved text—is stored on your device. The app uses this information on your phone to provide its features.
We do not receive or store this information on our servers. We do not collect app usage data or use third-party analytics or tracking tools. We do not send your app information to advertising platforms or external AI services.
Sharing is your choice. We do not sell, rent, or share your app information.
If you choose to send or export information using your phone's messaging, email, or other sharing tools, that information leaves your device through the service you select. That service's privacy policy applies to its handling of the information. Recipients may save, copy, or share what you send, and deleting it from Love Me Better does not remove their copies.
Phone permissions. No current features need phone permissions. If future versions have featured that need a device permission, the app requests it through your phone's permission controls. Granting permission does not give us access to your information. You can manage permissions in your phone's settings, although disabling a permission may affect the related feature.
Backups and outside services. Depending on your phone settings and the app's backup configuration, locally stored information may be included in a device or cloud backup managed by your operating system or backup provider. We do not operate those backups or have access to them. Your backup provider's privacy policy applies.
App stores and services you use to download the app may separately process information under their own privacy policies.
Managing and deleting information. Because your app information stays on your phone, we cannot view, retrieve, change, or delete it for you.
You can remove locally stored app data through your phone's app storage or removal controls. The exact steps depend on your device. Removing local data does not necessarily remove backups, exported files, or information you previously sent to others. Manage those copies separately through the relevant service or device settings.
Security. Keeping your phone secure helps protect your information. Use a screen lock, keep your operating system updated, and consider who can access your phone and backups. No device or storage method is completely secure.
Contacting us. If you email us, we receive the information you choose to include in that email, such as your email address and message. We use it to respond and handle your request. This is separate from information stored inside the app. Please avoid sending sensitive app content unless necessary.
Changes to this policy. We may update this policy as the app changes. The current version will show its effective date. If a future version introduces data collection, we will explain the change and obtain any required consent before that collection begins.
